Opportunities abound to serve at Arise Church, whether on a Sunday morning or behind the scenes throughout the week. We also love to reach those outside of our church's walls, regularly sending out teams that serve Aberdeen and the surrounding area in a variety of ways.
These hardworking individuals are passionate about creating a welcoming environment within our building. Weekly crews rotate to ensure that our facility is always well-maintained and ready for any programs and events that happen here.
From the parking lot to your seat, these are the smiling faces that welcome and show love to every guest at Arise! From the outgoing greeter positions to the pros that keep Café 99 stocked with coffee and snacks, these volunteers make our church feel like home even to a brand new visitor.
Our junior and senior high youth ministry is filled with people passionate about the next generation, because they're not just the church of tomorrow, they're the church of today! Much like keeping the church clean and maintained is a matter of good stewardship and cultivating a welcoming atmosphere, the Hospitality Team makes preparing Sunday morning coffee and donuts an art! We want guests and regular attendees alike to feel completely welcome on a Sunday morning, and grabbing a hot coffee (or hot chocolate) and a few treats may be just the icebreaker!
Meals on Wheels volunteers deliver more than a thousand meals each month in Aberdeen. We're always looking for volunteers to join our crew that delivers along the North Route.
If you have a heart for kids, we would love for you to join the many volunteers who show love to every child, right where they're at. We partner with our other team members to encourage every one of the children who come through our doors to build a relationship with Jesus and with others through activities and lessons. Rise Up Kids is separated into three different age groups: Kindergarten–5th Grade, Toddlers, and Infants. If you feel gifted and led to serve, our Next Generation leaders would love to hear from you!
